Terms of Service
These draft terms include the owner-approved waiting, cancellation, and transportation-expense policies for implementation. Final terms, operator details, governing law, coverage boundaries, and consumer-rights review remain required before production use.
Service scope
JapanMeet provides personal accompaniment and practical navigation assistance. It is not a carrier, taxi, ride-hailing service, railway operator, specialist medical provider, or guarantee of boarding or connections.
Requests and confirmation
A submitted request is not a booking. Service is confirmed only after availability and scope are checked, a final quote is provided, the traveler accepts it, and JapanMeet sends direct confirmation.
Prices and included time
Hotel-to-station and station-to-hotel assistance start at ¥15,000 with up to 120 minutes included. Station meet and connection assistance starts at ¥9,000 with up to 60 minutes included. Custom assistance is by quotation. Additional assistance costs ¥3,000 per 30 minutes only when available and mutually agreed; no extension is charged without customer agreement.
Transportation expenses
Customers pay their own transportation fares and the assistant’s fares while the assistant accompanies them. Ordinary assistant travel to the meeting point and returning after the service is included when the assignment qualifies for standard coverage; eligibility for the standard price is confirmed during quotation. Customer-requested taxis are separate. Exceptional travel distances, special arrangements, and every other additional expense require an advance quote and customer agreement before they are incurred. No geographic boundary or tax treatment is established by this draft.
Traveler responsibilities
Travelers remain responsible for valid tickets and documents, accurate itinerary details, personal belongings, arriving on time, and following station and carrier rules.
Luggage and accessibility
Physical luggage carrying is not promised. JapanMeet does not provide specialist accessibility assistance. Travelers should disclose relevant needs so suitability can be assessed before confirmation.
Waiting and late arrival
A 15-minute grace period applies without an additional waiting fee, but included service time starts at the confirmed meeting time and does not restart when a guest is late. If the customer cannot be contacted within 30 minutes, JapanMeet may treat the booking as a no-show. Advance-notified delays are accommodated where practical and subject to availability.
Cancellation policy — owner approved, legal review required
Deadlines are measured from the confirmed service start time in Japan Standard Time. Cancellations received at least 48 hours before have no fee and receive a 100% refund; those received from 24 to less than 48 hours before have a 50% fee; those received less than 24 hours before and no-shows have a 100% fee. Cancellation takes effect when received through the designated communication channel. Date changes are subject to availability. If JapanMeet cancels without an acceptable alternative, unused service fees are refunded in full.
Delays and disruptions
Railway disruption, congestion, weather, closures, and other third-party events may affect the plan. Additional assistance is charged only when available and agreed. Limits of responsibility require legal review.
Operator and governing terms
Business operator identity, contact address, governing law, dispute terms, and effective date: [Owner confirmation required before publication].
